January 2008 – The Deanna Favre Hope Foundation has been named as the recipient for the first Friends Forever Girls™ Get Up and Give! Campaign. The Friends Forever Girls™ (www.FriendsForeverGirls.com) will donate 25% of all January 2008 sales to the Deanna Favre Hope Foundation, which helps those affected with breast cancer.
“This is our way of staying true to our mission and starting the year off right,” said Friends Forever Girls™ creator Kristi Necochea. “The idea of giving back is at the core of my business philosophy. My goal is for the company to model a set of core values that inspires young girls. We hope that the Get Up and Give! Campaign shows them that even a small contribution can make a difference.”
The Friends Forever Girls™ are a line of beautifully created dolls, books and accessories that are fun and entertaining and that also promote positive messages. The Friends Forever Girls™ use the “Butterfly Promises” to help guide them in life:
Be the best I can be
source: FPR
Use kindness and be fair
Tell the truth
Treat others the way I want to be treated
Encourage my friends
Respect myself and others
Find the courage to do what’s right
Listen to others
And always remember…
You can do it!
The Deanna Favre Hope Foundation was selected as the first recipient for this annual campaign because an upcoming Friends Forever Girls™ book, titled Kristina Takes the Stage, includes a storyline where the girls learn about breast cancer.
